Bringing it all together

Chris Ryder, University of Reading

Later this month, we will be holding a workshop event to unveil our web application and report on the results of the project.

The event will be held at the University of Reading on Wednesday 18th December, and will include stakeholders from all areas relating to health claims legislation: consumers, food manufacturers, regulators, and many other interested parties such as charities and those involved in Food Law.

The web application (or digital toolkit) will be presented to all stakeholders to demonstrate how it works and the kind of results that it is able to give us. We will then talk about the policy recommendations that we will have drawn up from analysing these results, which will be given to regulators to consider.

There will also be a panel session to finish off the day in which audience members can ask questions of representatives from all different stakeholders, which will be a great opportunity for people to identify any other concerns relating to health claims.

We are very much looking forward to this event and meeting everyone who will be attending!

This event is by invitation only. However, if you represent a stakeholder in health claims or an interested party, please get in touch as soon as possible using the Contact Us link above as there may still be space left to accommodate your organization.
