Lena Lütt is a PhD student at the European New School in Frankfurt Oder and project manager in the EIT-Food project Health Claims Unpacked at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Since January 2021, she has been supervising the project with regard to data protection and socio-technical implementation. She focuses on the success of science communication for the masses with regard to the processing of health claims with digital applications.
Her scientific interest questions the possibility of exploring complex issues in the logic of law, politics as well as the economy and ultimately the consumer. What "translation errors" occur when different stakeholders make different demands on a platform and how can health claims be made clear and helpful for consumers?
At the same time, she is at the beginning of her dissertation, which asks about the significance of Big Data for the generation of medical knowledge when using period tracking apps.
